1-23-2006 - Krohn Racing is back in Daytona Prototype
competition this year without TRG and with only one car, a Pontiac Riley
combination. Despite the more streamlined effort, this team will feature a
driver line-up consisting of owner Tracy Krohn, Nic Jonsson, Jorg Bergmeister
and 17 year old sensation Colin Braun. Krohn and Jonsson teamed to win the 6
Hours of the Glen last year, while Bergmeister took a win at Phoenix alongside
Christian Fittipaldi. Colin Braun also dazzled by leading the race at VIR last
October for a brief stint. Do not be surprised if this team is in the hunt for
victory at the end of 24 grueling hours.
