Latest on 2007 season for Colin
Ovalo,
TX - Colin will again be back with Krohn Racing for a full
season behind the wheel of the #76 Pontiac/Riley. This will be
his primary focus and he is very happy to be driving for Tracy Krohn
again in 2007. Colin said "It is hard to imagine a better team
than Krohn Racing, and to be asked back for a second season is
fantastic".
After the Thanksgiving holiday the
Krohn Racing guys are back preparing for the 2007 season.
Colin and the team will skip the Homestead test in early December to
prepare for the 3 day Daytona test the first week in January.
Colin will be testing the #76 with his co-driver for the year at
that test. His co-driver is not been announced by the team yet
but he is a past Daytona Prototype champion.
Colin has been working on some ALMS
opportunities with some interested teams talking to him about
driving for them in 2007 on a partial schedule around the Krohn
Racing commitment.
Colin spent time at many of the
NASCAR races in the Chase and keeps working on opportunities there.
The good performance in the GM Busch test as well as his results
with the Ford powered Daytona Prototype have helped open doors with
each manufacture and teams representing each
Next up is the Daytona test in early
January. Look for official announcement soon of the Driver
line up for #76.
