Engine problems cut practice time short at Watkins Glen

For the first time ever Colin made laps at Watkins Glen International.  After many obstacles in his path from big tobacco companies to track rules he took to the famous track.  In the first practice he was the quickest car in the field after only 20 laps.  Then an engine problem caused the team to change the engine.  This meant that there was no more practice.  The rest of the teams continued to test for 1.5 hours and refine the cars.  Colin went out for qualifying and was 7th fastest.  0.1 seconds faster and he would have been 4th.  In the final practice he and his co driver Jorg Bergemeister were 3rd fastest and the car was much improved.  The race is Friday night.
