12-12-2007 - Vegas Truck test goes great

Las Vegas NV - Colin got about 50 laps in the #6 Con-way Freight Ford F-150 in a 2 day test at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  It was his first time in a truck on a big track.  Travis Kvapil was there doing testing for Goodyear, and was a big help to Colin. 

Travis had done all the tire testing because of his experience with the tire in the 2007 season.  Colin got 1 hour in the truck just to do a few laps and feel it out.  He was as fast as Travis by lap 8 and did a long run that pleased crew chief Mike Beam.  Colin said having Travis there to show him the ropes was a huge help.

The team has some off track testing scheduled as well as pit stop practice 3 times a week leading up to the first test at Daytona Jan 11,12,13 2008.
