7-24-2007 - Colin 4th quick in first speedway test - Nashville

Nashville, TN - In his first time ever on a oval only speedway, Colin was 4th fastest today among the 17 ARCA drivers testing at Nashville's 1.33 mile 14 degree banked speedway.  Driving the #99 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, Colin worked on long runs and got some time to run in traffic.  Many drivers did qualifying runs on new tires and taped up, so Colin was very happy to run as quick as he did. 

Colin Braun - It was fun to drive on a big track like Nashville.  The car was very good and that made it easier for me to learn the track.   We had to work on my seat fit as the car had Matt Kenseth's seat in it.  I can't wait to go to Gateway and get some more laps in on a big track.  I know I have allot to learn, but the Roush Fenway guys are helping me adapt to these cars. 

Next up for Colin in the ARCA series is a test at Gateway on August 14th.  Before that he will be racing the Krohn Racing Daytona Prototype at Montreal and Watkins Glen.
