8-14-2007 - 4th quick in St Louis ARCA open test

St. Louis MO - Colin was back in the Roush Fenway Racing Ford Fusion at Gateway Speedway for a open test for ARCA/ReMAX series cars.  Colin shared the car with teammate Eric Darnell.  Running about 80 laps, Colin worked on learning the track, doing long race runs and made 2 simulated qualifying runs. 

His race run times were right with Bryan Clauson from Chip Ganassi Racing and series front runner Michael McDowell.  On the first qualifying run the car bottomed in turn 1 and Colin had to abort the run.  The second run still had the car bottom and move up the track but Colin was ready and did a time good enough for 4th on the day.

The team got some good data and is very pleased with the work they did, feeling ready for the September 31st race.  Next up is a test at Chicagland Raceway 8-21-2007.
