9-19-2007 - Great test at Memphis

Memphis TN - Driving the Roush Fenway Racing #99 ARCA car at Memphis Motorsports park, Colin had a chance to run the 3/4 mile track for the first time.  The Roush Fenway racing team wanted Colin to get some laps at Memphis just to get more experience in a stock car.

Colin worked with crew chief Jeff Campy and the 2 improved the car with each outing.  In the end Colin ran race laps that would have put him in the top 5 in the Busch race and qualifying times also in the top 5 Busch times.  It is generally accepted that an ARCA car would be slightly slower than a Busch car, so everyone was pleased with the days results.

Colin continues to learn the stock car and is really looking forward to the next test.  This one at the 2.6 mile Talladega Super Speedway in a weeks time.
