 About Colin
Colin is one of the rising stars in American Motorsports.  At 17 years old he has already won 2 professional car racing championships.  He started racing at age 6 in Quarter Midgets, went kart racing at 8, and competed in Italy, Monaco, France, and Japan for factory kart teams all before he was 14.  At 14 years old Colin transitioned to cars winning back to back championships in the Formula Renault 1600 and then in a Formula 2000 in the Formula TR series.  At 16 Colin was part of the Team 16 squad and drove in the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona in a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup car with 2 other 16 year old drivers.  That year he became the youngest Daytona prototype driver in history driving the Essex racing Crawford/ Ford.  At only 17 years 9 months, and 7 days old, Colin became the youngest driver in North America to win a major league motor race when he won the Brumos 250 at Daytona International Speedway driving for Krohn Racing in the Grand Am Rolex Daytona Prototype series.  Colin went on to win a 2nd race at Barber Motorsports Park, and take pole position at that same race ending up 4th in the 2006 Rolex drivers points.  This despite missing 3 races due to tobacco age restrictions.  Colin became the youngest driver in history to stand on the podium at the famed 24 hours of LeMans when he finished 2nd driving a factory Ferrari supported F430 GT2 car.  Pole positions and dominating race drives highlighted his 2007 Daytona Prototype season.  In June 2007 Colin signed a long term contract with Roush Fenway Racing and Ford Racing to go NASCAR racing in 2008.
